The exhibition featured innovative achievements across the entire industrial chain, including APIs equipment, formulation machinery, packaging technology, intelligent production lines, and eco-friendly solutions. AI-driven unmanned production systems, modular pharmaceutical equipment, and low-carbon energy-saving technologies emerged as key highlights, demonstrating the industry’s strong momentum toward digitalization and green transformation.


International Participation Hits Record High

Leading pharmaceutical equipment manufacturers from Germany, the U.S., Japan, Italy, and other countries participated in group delegations, with international exhibitors accounting for 35% of the total. Chinese and global companies competed on the same stage, fostering cross-border exchanges and collaboration in pharmaceutical technology. Multiple international forums addressed topics such as "Global GMP Compliance" and "Localization of Biopharmaceutical Equipment," offering forward-looking insights for the industry.


Deep Integration of Industry, Academia, and Research

Over 20 thematic forums and technical seminars were held during the expo. Renowned institutions such as Tsinghua University and China Pharmaceutical University collaborated with enterprises to release the 2025 Pharmaceutical Machinery Technology White Paper, driving synergistic innovation across industry, academia, and research.

This year’s expo attracted more than 300 international brands from 24 countries and regions, including Germany, Italy, the U.S., and Japan, underscoring the immense appeal of the Chinese market. The event also drew overseas professional visitors from 88 countries and regions, including India, Russia, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Pakistan, Malaysia, and Italy, reflecting its growing global influence. Compared to last year, the expo saw an increase in both visitor numbers and cross-sector participation, with exhibitors reporting highly fruitful engagements.

Alongside the exhibition, the expo hosted over 90 high-end forums and technical exchange sessions, including the CIPM Synthetic Biology & Bio-Manufacturing Industry Development Conference, "Market Opportunities and Challenges in Functional Foods," and "Synthetic Biology Driving Innovation in Traditional Chinese Medicine." Industry experts, corporate leaders, and scholars from around the world engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as Pharma 4.0, international compliance in production, and supply chain optimization, providing fresh perspectives for industry growth. Against the backdrop of a reshaping global economy and accelerated industrial upgrading, this year’s expo focused on identifying "certain opportunities amid uncertainty" through its forum activities. From macro policies to micro-level practices, the discussions explored development potential driven by technology and pathways for industrial chain breakthroughs.


Innovatively launched by the organizing committee, the first-ever CIPM "Pharma Machinery Masterclass" invited leading pharmaceutical and equipment enterprises to jointly address the transformation needs of "cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and innovation-driven breakthroughs," actively exploring collaborative solutions across the supply chain.
